 BEDFORD BUCKET DASH
On Tuesday afternoon, a Bedford family lost their home in a fire. While no one was hurt, they did lose everything in the fire. The National Honor Society and Students in Action are leading an effort to help this family out. We will be doing a Bucket Dash collection in all lunches on Thursday and Friday, and we will have a bucket in front of the cafeteria on both days to take donations. Please help us help this family during this holiday season by bringing your donations on Thursday and Friday. Let's show this family what Community is all about. Thanks, Bedford Family!"

The National Honor Society has begun their annual food drive. To that end, we will be sending NHS students to all classrooms that have a first hour to introduce the project to your students. As usual, we will be providing breakfast for the top three classrooms with the best average of points per student. In addition, this year we will be awarding Amazon gift cards to the top three students based on individual point values -- $50 for the first place student, $25 for the second place student, and $10 for the third place student. We are hoping this extra incentive will help bring in the most food we have ever collected.
