BEDFORD BUCKET DASH
On Tuesday afternoon, a Bedford family lost their home in a fire. While no one was hurt, they did lose everything in the fire. The National Honor Society and Students in Action are leading an effort to help this family out. We will be doing a Bucket Dash collection in all lunches on Thursday and Friday, and we will have a bucket in front of the cafeteria on both days to take donations. Please help us help this family during this holiday season by bringing your donations on Thursday and Friday. Let's show this family what Community is all about. Thanks, Bedford Family!"If you have any questions please see Mr. Earl in G4

The National Honor Society has begun their annual food drive. The drive will take place thru December 17. The need in our community is IMMENSE this year, so we want to make sure that we do as much as we can to help give a hand up to those who are struggling. To that end, we will be sending NHS students to all classrooms that have a first hour to introduce the project to your students. As usual, we will be providing breakfast for the top three classrooms with the best average of points per student. In addition, this year we will be awarding Amazon gift cards to the top three students based on individual point values -- $50 for the first place student, $25 for the second place student, and $10 for the third place student. We are hoping this extra incentive will help bring in the most food we have ever collected.
Student Council invites all homerooms to decorate their door with any holiday/winter theme. Judging will take place any time during the day on December 17th (so be ready starting 1st hour). Judges will rank their top three doors 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Each place will earn points. The three rooms with the most points will win a pizza party supplied by student council. Paper Rolls are in the media center.
We are again collecting Food Town receipts. Please save them and turn into the Main Office or put in the High School Box as you exit the store. It will help your classrooms get supplies.
