SWIM
This weekend, the Bedford Swim and Dive participated in a Top D2 invitational in Battle Creek. Bedford was invited to this Spartan invitational  based on our performances at the past two MHSAA State meets.  Bedford did not disappoint, in fact we did great. There were many personal bests across the board, a number of MISCA and STATE qualifying swims and we finished 5th... just 11 points away from 4th behind Birmingham Seaholm, but ahead of Portage Central. Dexter, the 2017 State Champs, were the victors.

Bedford  Top Relays did great. All three were way under State Qualifying times.  200 Medley finished 3rd, 200 Free finished 5th and 400 Free relay almost snuck in a first against Dexter, but just got outtouched for 2nd.

Top Individual Qualifiers for the Mules are as follows:

200 Free-  Logan Cavins 9th, DJ Asselin 11th
200 IM- Thomas Zoldowski 5th, Ty Smith 6th, Bradey Huber 16th
50 Free- Zak Smith 4th, Noah Scheffer 5th
100 Fly- Noah Scheffer 5th
100 Free- Zak Smith 2nd, Kyler Schreder 6th
500 Free- Logan Cavins 5th, DJ Asselin 10th
100 Backstroke- Ty Smith 2nd,  Thomas Zoldowski 8th*** Ty had a State Qualifying time.  Comments on Results are incorrect.
100 Breaststroke- Kyler Schreder 2nd, Bradey Huber 9th, Alex Sancrant 13th.

Other Notable Performances- Cameran Allen- 12 second PR in 100 Free,  Alex Zittleman- 12 second PR in 100 Breaststroke/6 second PR in 50 Free, Ian Metter - 4 second PR in 100 Free and 3 second PR in 100 Breaststroke,  and  Nick Hallstrom - PRs in 50 and 100 Free splits.

Our next meet is Thursday, Jan. 11th vs. Huron.
