DRIVERS ED
The next segment I drivers ed class begins October 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in E9. The class will run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for four weeks. Sign up sheets in office or with Mrs. Scott in E9 or Mrs. Nimagean in D2. You can also go online and sign up at www.bedford.k12.mi.us and look under community ed and then drivers ed.
There is another segment one starting in November from 4:30 to 6:30 PM and a segment 2 offered November 5, 6, 7 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 PM.
TUTORING
Today, Monday, September 30th, begins the first of two weeks of Mandatory Tutoring for Eligibility. Any questions, see Mrs. Mull in C7 or email at (pat.mull@mybedford.us).
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The Bedford boys cross country team placed 4th in the Marauder Invitational in Rockwood today, finishing behind winner Saline, runner-up Canton, and Region 5 rival Dearborn. Leading the way for Bedford were sophomores Collin Balla and Alex Ortiz, who finished 11th and 13th, respectively. Junior Aidan Burns crossed the line in 15th, sophomore Micah Scheffer finished in 25th, and senior Noah Bock finished in 30th. In the freshman race, Josh Gagne was runner-up, and Anthony Kruszka crossed the line in 14th. In the Reserve race, the Kicking Mules placed 4th, led by seniors Austin DePue, Caden Bodine, and Patrick Dotson. Also running well was Steve Stevens, who PRd in his effort.
Students in Action--BUBBLE TEA
SIA is hosting a bubble tea sale on Wednesday, October 9th. The tea flavors will be : Mango, strawberry and watermelon. Bubble flavors are Kiwi, Mango and Blueberry. Cost is $4.00.
BLOOD DRIVE
Student council will be hosting it's first blood drive of the year on October 17th. Sign ups will be during lunches October 7 - 11. If you are 16 you will need parent permission to sign up- forms are available in A25 or at the sign up table. If you are 17 or older, you do not need parent permission and can sign up during your lunches.
RETAKE PICTURE DAY
Retake school picture day is Monday, October 14th. Please remember to bring in your old picture packet.

We are again collecting Food Town receipts. Please save them and turn into the Main Office or put in the High School Box as you exit the store. It will help your classrooms get supplies.
